Nicolette Sherman joined Sanofi in June 2008 as the HR Commercial Lead for US Pharmaceutical Operations. After 18 months, she was promoted to Vice President, Human Resources, Global Oncology, where she led the HR function for the division, which included all aspects of building the division through strategic workforce planning and talent acquisition, talent management and development, culture development, and performance rewards and recognition. As the lead HR business partner, Nicolette collaborated across the business globally to establish the strategic HR agenda and aligned programs and interventions. In March 2013, Nicolette assumed leadership for the NA Leadership and Organizational Development organization. In this role, she oversees the design, development, and delivery of programs, tools, and services across the NA businesses to facilitate individual, team, and organizational performance. Responsible for learning, leadership development, performance management and organizational consulting, Nicolette and her team work to build a learning culture and enhanced organizational effectiveness.

 

Previously Nicolette worked for Schering-Plough for over 5 years where she held leadership roles, including Head of HR for Consumer HealthCare, then Specialty Customer Care Group, Global Marketing, Commercial Development, Global Licensing and Strategic Alliances, and the Global Business Operations. Additionally, Nicolette was selected to lead the US HR Integration Team, which orchestrated the integration of Organon Biosciences with Schering-Plough. Prior to joining the pharmaceutical industry in 2003, Nicolette has held various line and OD positions of increasing responsibility in the financial services (Prudential) and telecommunications (AT&T) industries. With a passion for leadership development and organizational transformation, Nicolette had the opportunity to lead major initiatives, driving engagement and organizational cultural change, as well as building leadership development programs in support of core business objectives.

Nicolette holds a BA from Lehigh University in Government, a MA from University of Delaware in Political Science, and a Master's in Human Resource Management from Rutgers University. Nicolette has also achieved the following designations: Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Women Unlimited LEAD Graduate and Mentor, DDI Certified Facilitator, MBTI Qualified Professional, and Certificate from ASTD in Human Performance Improvement.  

Nicolette serves on the Board of Directors for Deirdre’s House in Morris County and is the President-Elect for the Boston Chapter of the Healthcare Business Women’s Association (HBA). She is married with two children and resides in Whitehouse Station, New Jersey.
