Professional Development Workshops

Today's professionals are constantly challenged to grow in their profession, especially those of us in the Learning and Development field. In 2015, NNJ ATD is offering a variety of different Professional Development Workshops which is crucial in today’s world of perpetual global change, it is important to stay current when developing today’s and tomorrow’s workforce. Our Professional Development Workshops are aligned with the NNJ ATD 2015 theme, Building Community through Engagement, as we believe in creating an atmosphere of shared experiences that will lead to building a community of networked individuals.

Our Professional Development workshops vary in length between a half day workshop to two days. Most are in-person workshops, yet there could also be webinars. A variety of topics are offered ranging from Agile Development/ Instructional Design, Social Media Marketing, Creating a Social Media Learning Strategy, Using Social Media in Instructional Design, Articulate Storyline, to name a few. Each topic is aligned with the ATD Competency Model and keeps our members in mind by offering these workshops at an affordable price.

The focus of each Professional Development Workshop is to provide valuable specific learning and development skills. You will learn new techniques and skills and have the opportunity to address real-life situations. During the workshops, you will have the opportunity for hands on practice and feedback. Additionally; you will explore best practices with your colleagues, network with others, and have the ability to ask specific questions geared to your needs. You will leave the workshops with a new skill and new connections. Our workshops are designed so that members are able to build relationships with other participants that extend beyond the workshop environment.

At the end of the day, Professional development is about continual development and raising the bar for your own development. Attend our highly engaging workshops and experience the difference for yourself.
