    NNJ ASTD is truly privileged to recognize Kathy Sherwood, Senior Partner of Sherwood Learning Solutions LLC as our First Transformational Leader in Learning award recipient. 

    Kathy uses her tremendous capacity for bringing people together (empowering intent) to develop high quality solutions for her customers. She helps her consultants, friends and colleagues, by sharing her influence in ways that help to promote others not for her own gain, but because it is the right thing to do. She is a transformational leader, influential and respected by those who know her and work with her. 

    We celebrate Kathy’s accomplishments, leadership and contributions to our chapter, our community and our profession.  Kathy is a long time member of NNJ ASTD chapter and exceptional leader.  Please congratulate Kathy, as our first award recipient. 

    This new award will be presented annually at our NNJ ASTD chapter event celebrating Women’s History Month. 

    Our award criteria is aligned with the four elements described by Mary Lou Descoterd, our key note speaker at the Women’s History Celebration which took place March 12. Each year we will nominat an organizational leader who demonstrates results and impact in one or more of the following four categories: Intuitive Orientation, Directive Force, Empowering Intent, Assimilative Nature. click here to learn more>

    Dr. Mary Lou Decosterd, leadership author and founder of the Lead Life Institute on “How Women Are Transforming Leadership”. Dr. Décosterd has 25 years of experience in organizational development, applied psychology and university teaching and is the author of three leadership books.
