Tips for Building your Consulting Practice
Are you having challenges building and managing a consulting practice?
Vince Varallo, independent for 28 years, says “finally we are moving with the wind.” His practice, Varallo International, is proving that the conditions are right for consultants to succeed. A great skill set for the coming decades will be to survive and prosper on your own. At the moment companies have money, but they are still not hiring. Thus, the employment paradigm is undergoing a radical shift and independency is mandatory for many.
Vince will focus this workshop on your needs and will address:
- What is the proper mindset?
- How do I describe my offering?
- How do I develop the correct corporate relationships?
- How can I build a team to help?
- How do I manage when business is slow?
Allan Berger, Berger Business Advisors, will add his expertise to work with you on individual challenges. Allan will act as a table coach answering your individual questions as you work on the exercises.
The content will include:
- Deciding if you are structuring a firm or a practice
- Surrounding yourself with the client need
- Defining revenue streams

Attend if you
- Have a newly formed consulting practice
- Are thinking of forming a practice
