About the session:
5 Steps to Leveraging Learning Systems™ Engineering & Predictive Analytics to Deliver Learning Solutions the Drive Bottom Line Results!
We are again kicking-off our 2016 Employee Learning Week events with facilitator Trish Uhl, PMP, CPLP!
It’s becoming a common problem… when dramatic changes in the competitive landscape make it crystal clear that organizational results can only be achieved through people performance – suddenly training MATTERS.
As companies’ value propositions continue to shift from things to the competitive advantage represented by their people and responsive workforce, it’s time to get tenacious about training transfer – making it mission critical for what’s taught in the classroom to get put into practice.
In short, training programs MUST get translated into performance on the floor!
Employees have to contribute their talents and deliver desired results, or they potentially put the company at risk from its competitors and unstable market conditions.
Growth and success hinges on the performance of people and learning solutions have to ensure they enable this performance in the strongest way.
In this deconstructed case study, we’ll explore how one water utility company uses Learning Systems Engineering and predictive analytics to gain data-enabled insights into training transfer to bridge the gap between training events and actually improving human performance. Using metrics, measures, and milestones the L&D team is able to proactively identify, mitigate or even remove barriers to the transfer of training back on-the-job. This then actively directs learning outcomes toward business critical bottom-line results.
After this session, you will be able to:
- Understand step-by-step, how to connect training events to people performance, and people performance to organizational outcomes and bottom-line results
- Start leveraging Learning Systems Engineering™ and workplace learning analytics™ to design data-enabled training programs that demonstrate measurable value
- Apply principles and practices that extend your organization’s investments in its employee training programs to produce powerful, positive business impacts
