About This Event

Come join us for 2018’s first big event!  This event kicks off Northern NJ ATD’s 2018 theme of Be Resilient: Navigating Your Career Agility in a Changing Professional World.  This is the first event in an exciting three-part series that recalibrates your career journey.

We’ll take our career on a road trip by tuning it up so that it remains strong for its longevity. We’ll evaluate where we are right now, build up our level of resilience against unwanted change, and then set a long-term destination for our career.

Pulling from her experience at the United Nations Development Programme and working with the C-suite at several software companies, Nancy’s session gives insight into the factors often considered during times of organizational change to give you a better perspective of the career landscape. No doubt we will have a lot of discussion, sharing of stories and tips.

The event will be interactive, so it’s sure to be interesting and relevant to everyone!  Don’t forget to bring a pen because there will lots of interactive resources and discussion that you won’t want to miss!

You’ll leave the session feeling more empowered to handle that next change in the workplace that impacts your career, as well as a tune-up assessment to continue to guide you during 2018. Plus, there will be a special offer for those who attend.

Do you have a question you would like to see covered in the session or a scenario you’d like to share ahead of time for me to include?  Go ahead and send them now!

About Our Presenter

Nancy is all about change and resilience. She has experienced prosperous times in rising companies and challenging times in declining companies during her 30 year career. She has been called upon to turnaround corporate situations, from people performance issues to derailed projects, helping both staff and companies become more resilient in the face of challenges and change.  Having been part of executive teams re-organizing companies, she has been on both sides of the lay-off scene, and experienced the impact of recessions.  Her career in L&D has required frequent re-invention.

She recently completed a major change program at the United Nations Development Programme, helping people acclimate to new processes, procedures, and software.  Her business and consulting background combined with learning & development skills enabled her create a community & skill building program called Are You Prepared for Unwanted Change in the Workplace? in her professional development platform www.GetYourselfStarted.com She shares an abbreviated version of that tonight.  She can be reached at nancy@nancycattle.com or 201-452-3145.
