About This Event

In a world where change is the only constant, adaptability is the only sustainable competitive advantage. The ability to use self-inquiry and input from others when preparing to make a change is key to self-awareness, learning from best practices, and raising self-confidence in your plans. This enables you to be fully present and resilient during transitions and major change.

Many professionals in Training and Organization Development are considering their next steps for a satisfying career. This session is designed to reveal and share the best practices of professional development in the learning and development field and generate practical takeaways that prepare for the next steps in one’s career.

We continue on our “career road trip” with this second event in the series – don’t worry if you were not able to attend the last event – you can still enjoy the ride! Regardless of where you are on in your career, this event has something for you.

Learning Objectives


At the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  • Build upon the first program in the 3-part series: The Career Tune-up Session
  • Develop a clear picture of the evolving trends and changing needs within the learning, development and talent development professions.

  • Use relevant best practices for professional development options that address customer trends and needs.

  • Create a list of practical ideas.

About Our Presenter



Dr. Andrea Zintz is President of Strategic Leadership Resources LLC (SLR), specializing in executive and high potential leadership strategy, succession and development. She has over 30 years experience in Leadership Development, Change Management, Human Resources Development and Training. Prior to SLR, Andrea was sr. vice president of PulvermacherFirth, vice president of Hudson Talent Management, president of Andrea Zintz and Associates LLC, a leadership and organization development consultancy, and the co-founder of the Center for Inquiring Leadership, a training company for leadership effectiveness. During this time she designed and executed landmark work in the development of internal coaches within major companies. 


Andrea cultivated her experiences as an executive coach, the development of executives and hi-potential leaders, and in talent and change management within the diversified healthcare and pharmaceutical, defense, and retail industries. As Vice President of Human Resources and Management Board member of the Johnson & Johnson subsidiary, Ortho Biotech, Inc., Andrea helped lead the growth of the company from $40 million to $500 million in a 6-year period, and launched 2 breakthrough biotech products that lead the market today. She also led executive leadership development for North America from J&J Corporate. During her tenure at J&J she was highly awarded for her work in cultural, HR and leadership development, where her special interests included executive women advancement, diversity, and mentoring. She has been trained as a Black Belt at part of the J&J Process Excellence effort and is an examiner and team leader for the Competitive Assessment Process at J&J. She is also a recipient of the YWCA Tribute to Women in Industry Award. A special expertise is in the area of mentoring in which she focused her doctoral dissertation and has designed and implemented various programs.


Andrea currently works primarily with senior leaders and leadership teams in business units of Fortune 500 corporations to develop high potential and senior leaders through team alignment/development strategies and coaching. Her strategic focus in this work is the development of a strong leadership pipeline. She has deep expertise in training Human Resources and line leaders to coach, teach and mentor others.


Andrea received her M.A. and Ph.D. from Fielding Graduate University, is a member of the National OD Network, and on the board of Dress for Success, Mercer County. She is the co-author of the soon-to-be released book, Orchestrating Sustainable Innovation and is co-authoring a second book: Grit, Grace, and Gravitas: Harnessing the Transformative Power of Executive Presence.
