Upskilling and Mobilizing Internal Talent

Kristi Broom

Director of Project Operations for Degreed

About This Event

Within 10 years, demand for skilled workers will outstrip supply, resulting in a global talent shortage of more than 85 million people. The financial impact of this talent shortage could reach $8.4T in unrealized annual revenue according to research by Korn Ferry. Organizations are turning to internal upskilling and mobility strategies to address talent shortages. Boston Consulting confirmed building and mobilizing existing talent will have the biggest payoff compared to buying, borrowing, or open-sourcing.

Yet, HBR found only 28% of talent acquisition leaders today report internal candidates are an important source of people to fill vacancies.

Join us for a strategic talent discussion as we explore the three main stakeholders in an internal mobility strategy, as well as the processes and tools critical for success. Leave with best practices and actionable strategies you can implement in your organization.
