By the end of her presentation, you'll be able to identify the mindset and conditions that need to be in place so you or your people can learn uplevel their skills in instructional design and online learning.

This session will cover three strategies you can use to upskill both yourself and your team in our own profession of instructional design and online learning. With each strategy, you'll learn what it is, how it works, and how you can apply it to yourself and your team's development in our industry. The strategies are:

This is an in-depth session on the strategies that are backed by both learning science and the evidence Dr. Sargent has witnessed in her program that serves both those brand new to instructional design and those that want to improve their skills. You'll not only get the strategies to apply to your own development, but you'll get to witness examples of how these strategies accelerate skill building in instructional design.

When you see how a learning asset that is created by a newbie completely transforms into a professional learning solution by the time it goes through the process of deliberate practice you'll be eager to apply these methods to your own development. This learning experience is rich in examples, stories, and application.

About Our Presenter

Robin Sargent PhD. Dr. Robin Sargent is an entrepreneur, instructional designer, and professor recognized as a leader in the instructional design community. She is the CEO of IDOL courses®, IDOL Talent Pool, and VITAL courses. She has been an instructional designer since 2008. IDOL courses® is the trade school for instructional design and online learning that serves clients while developing the next generation of creative learning designers.
