About This Event

The past two years have been a perfect storm that has resulted in a significant amount of stress and strain on so many individuals. Concerns about how to keep ourselves and our loved ones, safe and healthy, has taken on a new meaning.

Even before these significant events, stress management, work-life balance, and mindfulness were gaining momentum as critical issues. With the collapse of boundaries between work and home, it has now become more important than ever to recognize and understand the importance of mental health and acknowledge that leaders don’t lead employees – they lead human beings.

While challenges continue to mount, leaders and their teams still need to show up every day and do their jobs. Under the normal stresses of everyday life, it can be hard to stay mentally healthy, but against the backdrop of these incredibly profound issues, it’s even harder.

While our leaders do not need to be mental health experts, they can play a part in normalizing the role mental well-being plays in supporting a healthy and productive workplace. When an individual is mentally healthy, he or she can deal with the normal stresses of everyday life and can be productive at both work and at home.

In this webinar, we will discuss:

   • The difference between mental health and mental illness

   • Why mental health matters in leadership

   • The role of the leader in mental health well being

   • Why mental health matters for employees at work

   • How leaders can be “ALL IN” (Aware, Listen, Learn,
      Inquire, Non-judgmental) on mental well-being
