About This Event

This presentation, titled "Don't Get Spooked by Upskilling," explores the critical distinction between upskilling and reskilling, emphasizing the journey of building an upskilling program from an initial idea and a handful of licenses to a robust initiative with over 5,000 participants. It highlights the multi-vendor approach, and the cornerstone roles of Udacity, and Curated learning paths. The presentation also covers how the program is tracked through Workday (LMS), continuously improved through annual evaluations, and promoted across the company via internal websites, manager and HR calls, and ensuring constant engagement and growth.


About Our Presenter


David Di Pietro

Senior Learning & Development Consultant

Dave Di Pietro has been with Leidos for 16 years, initially working in Talent Acquisition. In 2019, he transitioned to Learning & Development (L&D), where he currently manages Technical Upskilling programs focused on AI and Cyber. Additionally, Dave oversees special L&D projects, helping to drive the growth and development of employees across the organization.
