Christine Troianello Senior Director & GM | IQVIA University Christine Troianello is a seasoned leader with extensive experience in global learning and talent development across various industries. She spearheads IQVIA University, the flagship training and technical writing arm of IQVIA, a prominent $14.9 billion life sciences company operating with 86,000 employees in over 100 countries. In this role, Christine oversees the training, support, and certification programs for employees, clients, and partners on IQVIA’s cutting-edge software solutions. Before joining IQVIA, Christine held executive positions in learning and talent development at corporations such as Prudential, Research in Motion, Alcatel-Lucent, Avaya, and AT&T. In these roles, she led transformative initiatives including major restructuring, global strategy development, and major challenges such as outsourcing and offshoring. Christine holds an MA in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from FDU and a Marketing Certificate from the Wharton School. She has been an adjunct faculty member and mentor at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, New Jersey. Additionally, she has contributed her expertise as an executive coach and consultant at the Lead Life Institute, where she facilitated the women's leadership program, WELL (Women’s Effectiveness in Leadership and Life). Beyond her professional endeavors, Christine is a contributing author to the book "How Women are Transforming Leadership" by Mary Lou Dècosterd. She supports the learning community and has served as an ATD Past President and held longstanding positions on the ATD Board of Directors and is committed to advancing the learning industry. |

Tony Irace Experienced Learning Professional, Fractional Learning Leader, Over his 30-year career, Tony Irace has held positions in instructional design, project management, and people leadership. He has extensive experience in business transformation initiatives, including building and restructuring learning organizations, learning system selection and procurement, and rollout of large corporate initiatives. Tony has a clear mission – helping others improve their performance at work. He has spent his career designing, delivering, organizing, and implementing learning solutions aligned to his clients’ business objectives. He is a strategic, collaborative, and innovative business partner who works with Senior Business Leaders to help them achieve their goals. Tony is a founding member and was recently co-chair of the NNJ ATD Executive Advisory council. He is a long-time member of the NNJ ATD chapter and served as President Elect in 2018. Tony earned a B.A. in English Literature and an M.A. in Linguistics from New York University. He has completed graduate work in Adult Education and Workplace Learning at Teacher’s College, Columbia University. |

Melanie Balestro Director, Technical Training | Information Services & Support Atlantic Health System Melanie Balestro is an experienced Training Director, Women's Empowerment Coach, Mentor, Keynote Speaker, and Influencer with a proven track record in successful change management strategies. With certifications in Coaching, Speaking, Training, and Crucial Conversations, Melanie is a passionate leader who excels in leveraging effective communication to elevate self-confidence and self-esteem, adding value and significance to the lives of others. Melanie played a pivotal role in the successful transition of over 400 Atlantic Health System ambulatory practices from paper and existing electronic medical records to the Epic Ambulatory Electronic Medical Record. She spearheaded innovative ideas to support practices post-implementation, including the development of resiliency trainings for practitioners and their support teams. Her team created an online take-out menu and on-demand videos for independent learning opportunities. Additionally, Melanie led the implementation of the "PEP IN YOUR STEP" program, resulting in a remarkable 98% success rate in improving the efficiency and proficiency of users. Known for her energy, creativity, and visionary mindset, Melanie is adept at driving engagement and fostering positive team building experiences. As a Change Agent, she serves as an ambassador for cultural strategy, forging positive relationships with individuals from diverse generational and cultural backgrounds. With Melanie's expertise and passion, she continues to make a significant impact in empowering individuals and organizations to thrive in a rapidly changing world. |

Nancy Cattle Nancy Cattle has enjoyed a career in Learning and Development, IT, and software implementations. As Director of Training at several fast-paced software companies, she helped those companies grow by training staff and customers. She then led a 6-year global training program at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) to increase productivity using IT tools such as SharePoint and social tools. Currently, as VP of Learning Services at ValGenesis, she continues to make learning enterprise software easier to learn and use. Her enthusiasm for the industry has led her to serve on the board as VP Membership, VP Technology, VP Administration and in 2016 and 2020 as President. |

Chuck Garrett Senior Director | IQVIA CSMS Training and Talent Acquisition Chuck Garrett has over 20 years of management and learning and development experience collaborating with commercial teams to launch products and teams to drive brand performance. Currently, he is the Senior Director at IQVIA managing Training and Talent Acquisition for their Contract Sales, Medical, and Patient Services Teams serving pharmaceutical and medical device markets. Prior to joining IQVIA, he was the Managing Director for Informa Training Partners, a training content supplier in the pharmaceutical industry. As Managing Director, he managed the operations for this pharmaceutical training (sales and medical) company, including writing/instructional design, project management, creative services, and technology teams. Prior to his time as a Managing Director, Chuck was the Director of Commercial Training at Celgene Corporation for the Hematology Division. He led a team of HQ and Field-Based Trainers that focused on Sales Representatives and Clinical Nurse Consultants. While at Celgene, he also served in the roles of Senior Product Manager in Marketing and District Sales Manager. Chuck started his pharmaceutical career at Pfizer in both Sales and Training where he focused on specialty and institutional markets. Chuck has a passion for developing high-performance teams by focusing on customer engagement and strategic thinking skills, as well as developing first and second line leader coaching skills to drive engagement and performance across their teams. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration, with a concentration in Marketing, from Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, Indiana. |

Peter Pedone President, Judge Learning Solutions Peter Pedone began his journey with The Judge Group in 1997, following the acquisition of Berkeley Computer Training, where he served as a sales representative. Demonstrating his prowess as an Account Executive, Pete swiftly ascended into sales management within Judge Learning Solutions (JLS), a distinguished division of The Judge Group. By 2003, Pete assumed the role of President at JLS, overseeing a dynamic team of salespersons, recruiters, and a tremendous team of learning and development professionals. His leadership has been instrumental in propelling JLS from a premier IT training provider to a comprehensive learning and development solutions powerhouse. Pete thrives in Judge's familial environment, attributing the company's success to its core values. Carolyn Ross Director, Talent Development at The Valley Health System Carolyn Ross has held learning and development positions in a variety of industries, including publishing, manufacturing, and healthcare. She has experience managing customer service call centers, instructional design, delivery of staff and leadership education courses, and organizational change initiatives. As a Director, Carolyn is currently responsible for ensuring the development and enhancement of a culture of success. Her values align with the organization, as she supports the accomplishment of goals by advancing the knowledge, skills and abilities of Valley Health System’s talent. Carolyn is a member of the NNJ ATD chapter and its Executive Learning Network. She earned a Certification in Organization Development from the Institute of Organization Development.
